Lights! Camera! Dance! opened Fall of 1998! It was founded by Darcie Galanti and her mother Jackie Galanti, kicking off the idea that LCD would be a true family-run and family-oriented institution.

Darcie Galanti has been dancing and training in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz and Lyrical since she was 2 years old. Performances and competitions have won her numerous awards and scholarships including the Wolcott Classics. Along with studying with professional choreographers in Walt Disney World, she has attended the Hartford conservatory and has received credits with UNLV, Las Vegas Nevada. Miss Darcie is certified with DEA “Dance Educators of America” where she has been accepted as a member upon passing written and technical execution and has become Certified and a Graduate Level III of the Dance Educators of America Teacher Training Program. She has also studied privately with Chuck Kelly in New York City, the well known tap dancer who is respected for his work in films and technical teaching. Miss Darcie’s competition team has won overall high scores and titles, and she has won numerous choreography awards. .

Shauna Clifford
Studio Manager/Instructor
Shauna Clifford has been dancing for 22 years! She started with Miss Darcie at 3 years old and just couldn’t stay away! She works to manage studio communications, websites, and scheduling. She is the current tap teacher at the studio, maintaining her favorite style of dance! She works the fun summer classes and enjoys getting to bring her love of musical theater into everything she does! Shauna is a full-time school speech language pathologist and loves getting to incorporate her knowledge of learning development into the dance classroom after hours!

Rocco Liscio
Hip Hop Instructor
Rocco Liscio is our hip hop instructor. He has been dancing since he was 12 years old, and he has been teaching for more than 13 years. He specializes in multiple styles of hip hop including, locking, popping, liquid, robot, and street. He has been awarded first place at competitions for his choreography, and is always excited to teach what he loves to do!
